A.J. Burnett – Meteorologist

I have no idea how best to express my high gratitude to all of you who have allowed me into your homes via your televisions for the past eight years. In an age when people's schedules are so hectic and when News and Weather are available at the blink of an eye and in the palm of your hand, you somehow carved out some time for me to deliver what I hope was a helpful, honest, and educational weather forecast. I thank you from the bottom of my heart for affording me your time, and your trust – it has been my honor and privilege. Unfortunately, I must say 'goodbye' to you all, although, I hope not for long. I will no longer be with FOX25 after tonight’s broadcast (Thursday, 12/29/11). I leave with my head held high and with so many great friends and memories from my stay. I'm not quite sure what is next for me, which is both very scary and a little exciting at the same time. There are still many things I'd like to accomplish, both professionally and personally and hope that 2012 will offer new opportunity, exciting challenges, fresh faces, and more great memories. That's also my wish for you this New Year. I leave you with a simple, but truly heartfelt, 'thank you,’ and a hope that I will see you again someday soon. Best wishes for 2012... and beyond, A.J.
